I would like to create a list of servers that will not allow duplicates and use this as a master list that will automatically populate several child lists that will contain different information but is tied to each server.  Want to know if there is a way to do this without programming.

Regarding to different severs I am not sure whether this can work, you'd better take a look at it by yourself.
The way you describe shows more like cascaded lookup. Take a look at Sharepoint Cascaded Lookup. which is a solution resemble to what you are looking for.
