However, I am not given the option of whether to format the number.

Thus, if I enter a value of 999999, it becomes 999,999 when I exit the field.

This is not desirable! I created a number type column called Record# in that list.

I have a document library that also needs to include the Record#. The Record# is created in the Change Requests list, so I thought I would create a column called Ref in this Document Library that looks up the values in the Record# column of MyList.

While creating the document library Ref column, I chose the information type of Lookup. In the Additional Column Settings block, I selected the Change Requests list in the "Get information from:" drop down list. The problem is, when I next browse the "In this column:" drop down list, The Record# column is not displayed, so I can't select it.

What is the secret for getting a site column that I create to appear in the column drop down list for a lookup column?

Opening MOSS 2007 up to internet

I am looking to pick someone's brain who has went through the process of opening up MOSS 2007 to the internet. I’ve been trying to find this for the past few days, but I’ve been running into a lot of dead ends. I want to stay away from parsing the document URL to get the folder path, because this won't work for search results that don't have an associated IFilter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Searching Internet

Has anyone here come across a way to add a search scope for say search.live.com to the enterprise search tab.
