Has anyone here come across a way to add a search scope for say search.live.com to the enterprise search tab.  Now clearly the goal is not to index the Internet, but rather have that as a choice, in mush the same way as one might search All Sites, This Site, People, etc...

before i go re-inventing the wheel, perhpas someone already is onto it and can point to a hands on lab or something...

TIA

so what you are asking is if the "live.com" search scope is selected that the query be passed to live.com, instead of being handled by the MOSS index? Not out of the box, that can't be done. Of course it is easy to create a text box that submits the contents as a search query string to live.com, but using the search box to do that, I don't see a way you could do that.

You can index the internet. I've tried that, gets to be a pretty big index.

Quite obviously I don't have the resources to index the Internet. I may look at creating a web part to do this. I did not find any existing while searching on live.com or any of the dev sites I could find.
