When click the checkbox on a calendar item in SP 2007 and select "this is an all day event", the item looks fine in SharePoint but when synced into Outlook 2003, it is shifted back by 7 hours (looks like GMT).  I've checked the timezone in the site collection and on the workstation and they are both set to CST.  If I create the calendar entry manually as a full day event starting at 12:00 am - 11:59 pm, it syncs into Outlook just fine. Has anyone else seen this?

I found the answer...

This is a known issue with Outlook 2003 and SharePoint 2007.  The solution is to upgrade to Office 2007.  As a workaround, you can enter the start time as 12:00am and the end time as 11:59pm without specifying the event as all day.
